STEP 2: Locate the three blocks secured by 4 zip ties.

STEP 3: Cut first bottom zip tie on the front block (I don't think order matters, this is just what I did)

STEP 4: Wiggle block to create space to get to top zip tie; cut top zip tie

STEP 5: Wiggle first block free after cutting top zip tie.

STEP 6: Wiggle bottom rear block to access single zip tie

I don't know you but if that happens to me it will be like unwrapping a present.
A cool experience.

It was kinda fun... Don't get to use my floor jack often enough... Doing the first one took about 10-12 minutes (counting taking photos). Second one (no photos, just business) took 3 minutes. Easy Peasy.

Same issue with the new S2000 almost 23 years ago now. Maybe the dealers/ mechanics forgot....

Great guide! I was very curious about this.

PDI is kind of a joke these days. We picked up our MX-5 with 40 psi in all the tires and the tie-down plugs uninstalled. Might as well have done nothing at all, since I would've much preferred to take off all the plastics myself.
