Performance wise it’s close enough to be a drivers race between it and the CTR.Once again the Elantra is a lesser car for a lesser price that consistently gets compared to and loses to a car that is more everything.
I would much rather watch the Elantra beat up other cars at its price point..
The tire debate has been given every time the N gets beat. The N will never win, nor does it inspire the same raw feeling the R gives.Honestly, this is unfair if the CTR is truly on Cup 2s. The Elantra would actually have a chance on same tires.
If that were true then the Elantra would win sometimes and it doesn't.Performance wise it’s close enough to be a drivers race between it and the CTR.
Oh it wins plenty of times out at Auto X and Time Trials in the real world with real drivers. You’d be shocked. If that were true then the Elantra would win sometimes and it doesn't.
I would not be surprised by that at all and I suppose that proves your point.Oh it wins plenty of times out at Auto X and Time Trials in the real world with real drivers. You’d be shocked.
There's nothing to debate. Cup2 vs. PS4S, doesn't matter. The Elantra N is not a formidable rival and I expect it to lose, and it consistently does, in just about every measured test. But it should lose, given the comparative data points. The tire debate has been given every time the N gets beat. The N will never win, nor does it inspire the same raw feeling the R gives.

I'm still waiting for the N to actually beat the R, and this again shows it does not. It’s formidable. Same pro driver with all cars on same tires.
You said it wasn’t a formidable rival. It’s within a tenth of a second. I’d say that’s a rival that demands some respect.I'm still waiting for the N to actually beat the R, and this again shows it does not.
