Any recommendation for NorCal Bay Area JDM performance shops ? I’m in Livermore Tracy area, hoping to find a spot relatively close to the house .

I’m pretty much new to the Honda world, been taking my type R to BMW performance shops I’m familiar with, but they don’t seem to be too knowledgeable regarding Japanese performance cars and they also seems to charge a lot more for installs.

Wondering about the same. Looking forward to swap brake fluid and lines towards the end of the year.

Hey gents! I'm in San Ramon, so not too far from Livermore.

Sakebomb Garage in Fremont (Google Maps) is very reputable and even produces some custom components. I'm planning on using them for some suspension work in the future.

I just bought my CTR about 1.5 months ago from Honda Concord, but have had phenomenal service/sales experiences with the crew at Dublin Mazda/Honda who are owned by the same guy, Taz Harvey. He's a legit racer and owns a few racecars that he frequently takes out on track. The teams there are made mostly of enthusiasts as well and I've become friends with a few. Would recommend them for any dealership needs.

Had a dual resonator delete (on mid-pipe) removed for $155 by Minute Muffler in Dublin and they did a fantastic job.

Also, do you guys know if there is a Bay Area CTR group? Similar to the Bay Area Miata Association (BAMA) which hosts meets at Dublin Mazda frequently.

Shoot me a private message, it'd be great to have local CTR guys!

Cheers

Thanks for the suggested local shops. I'm in Fremont myself and would be interested in any local groups.
