My wife and I decided last year that it was time for her a new car and she instantly said "Civic". She initially wanted a red sport touring hatchback (10th gen), but those were scarce to say the least. I knew the 11th gen was coming end of 2021, so I convinced her to wait and see if she liked them. Once she saw the hatch in Boost Blue, she was sold. Then we waited. Our sales guy was great and let us test drive a sedan to confirm she wanted the new Civic. Deposit placed and the wait for Honda to produce the hatchback continued. Our salesman and dealership went above and beyond and found us one of the first Boost Blue Sport Tourings available and we picked it up early November.

We took delivery before our OE splash guards arrived, so I installed them at home once they came in.

I didn't realize I'd get cross-posted from my thread into here. Anyway, here's my wife's car now with Tein H-Tech springs and Enkei TSR6 wheels.

Now we're just waiting on her HPD wing to arrive.

I used to think the Boost Blue hatchbacks looked a little tacky in many photos and even videos, but it actually looked really good in person. Totally get why people go with this color now.

I was the exact same. I thought Boost Blue looked great on the Type-R, but the first round of 11th Gen pics, I was like ehhh idk ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

But then last Dec., the weekly batch pulled up to the shop with about 4-5 new hatchbacks, and on the carrier was a boost blue sport, on Xmas eve no less. Grabbed the keys from the transporter driver, walked inside to my GM, said “Hey sorry this blue one off the truck is mine!”

He was like….”Again?? Are u fuckin serious??!”

I was like”Yup! Write it up!”

I really wish I could see this color in person. Under artificial lighting it looks good, but in the sun appears a couple shades too light for my tastes. According to a dealer the 2023 Sport Touring MT will be available in this color, along with Platinum White and Primer (Sonic) Gray. Until I see it, white will be first choice.

Just installed these swift springs from the fk8 last night. So far the ride feels amazing (r-mode and sport). I’m planning on uploading a write up on spring install when I get some time soon. Way easier than the fk8 front springs install for sure.
