on the fly map changes dont work. instead change 2step rpm?

while car is running i will attempt to change the map but the needle moves in 500 rpm adjustments past 3000?
looks like the 2step launch control setting maybe?
i think it only does this while sitting still. while moving, the maps are able to be cycled through.
it didn't do this before so i'm not sure what's going on.
i'll see if i can get a video of it later.

Take you foot completely off the clutch. When the clutch is engaged, that's when you adjust your 2-step...
