I'm not familiar with Homelink. Is this for letting you open your garage doors?
The primary use case is wireless control of garage doors; however, the system can also operate certain gates.

Also curious how the install went. I read the installation instructions and it might be more than I'm willing to do on my brand new car.

Sorry guys for the delay... was not feeling too well over the past few weeks. Install was rather easy and the instructions make it look harder than it was, literally took 1hr to do from start to finish. Anyways on with the install pictures:drive:

Thank you for sharing! How hard was it to route it inside the headliner to the A pillar? How difficult was it to remove the A pillar plastic?

The A-pillar was quite easy… just did it how the accord instructions stated and it worked perfectly
As far as the routing of the wire through the headliner and down the A-Pilar straight forward… and you don’t have to remove any of the sun visor stuff like the accord instructions say.
Looking at the instructions make this look harder than it really is, since the FL5 is bare bones compared to all of the electronic stuff that’s on the accord it makes it simple.
If you are worried about trying it yourself … don’t worry if you can remove a door panel you can do this:coffee:
Also don’t hesitate to ask question’s if you run into any issues with the install.

How did you access the fuse box/side of the dash?
Or perhaps you're just accessing below the steering column, but the question still is the same. How do you access that area?

I accessed the lower part of the dash by pulling off the panel under the left had A/C vent. it is just held in by clips and there are 2 connectors that need to be taken off as well but you will have access to them once the panel is pulled down.
