In aviation we have a term, "Read The F*#@Kin Notes" when it comes to instrument approach plates, charts, manuals, etc. My first ECU reflash was a bit of a sticky wicket, but in the end it went well. Having used VAG-COM on a VW TDI, flashing lights, bells and whistles and what not are not startling to the seasoned DIYselfer, so without further ado or adieu, the first rebraining of my car went well. Then it was time to do something more complex and when all the wiring and gauge mounting was done, I thought I reflashed the ECU again, then went about my day. Then came the check engine light "Emission Yadda Yadda", I used Flashpro to report and clear the codes. But, alas, they came back. So I took the Flashpro box upstairs, R.T.F.N.s and loaded two very important tunes into my box, went down to the garage and loaded tune #1 into my OBDII and voila! Codes cleared and the fat bastard came to life. The second download is for the road trip to the east coast should I need to revert to a safe place on the road trip, but I'm confidant I'm done with tinkering for now. I could hug you, Hondata guy!
