Hey guys. I got my FL5 back from the detailer and I tried to use my rear wiper. It went towards the bumper and not in the normal direction and got stuck behind the lip of the trunk. Has anyone experience this issue before and know how to correct it?

All the more reason to delete that bad boy. Seriously though, this is the first time I’ve seen that issue

I don't know why they come with them. Thankfully with the Teggy I don't have to worry.

Should be an easy do it yourself fix. Windshield wipers also get installed incorrectly after windshield replacements

Looking at Tedward's video I think your rear wiper was installed 180 degrees off. Maybe due to the tint shop still as they had to take it apart from the inside. It should be facing to the left in the default orientation.

If it's like any other wiper you can pop it off yourself and it should have gear like marks that you can flip it.

Imo would look terrible with the washer fluid nozzle and no wiper.

I was able to fix it. I just had to pop off the covering and unscrew a bolt to move it to the other side of the back windshield. No scratches or anything on the paint.

Glad no damage.

What’s the deal with the wiper delete process? Will it be the same as FK8?
