Track day video coming?Freshly installed Spoon wing for the FL5.
I don't think they ever do.Does Spoon publish any specs for the wing?
Maybe next year. The season is over for us in Canada.Track day video coming?
This is the revised version. The one you are referring to was the original version and it had to much down force. You are correct.I saw on some type of YouTube video that the wing cause to much downforce and throw off balance of the car. Or you need a crazy front splitter to offset it
Let me ask my friend if he can ask Spoon Japan if they can provide us with data both for the wing and lip. If he is able to get that info I will share with the group.Would always love to see data on any aero products. Spoon tests these for sure so why not share the data? The unreleased version had too much down force so they changed it which is cool, why its good to buy products from companies that test these instead of all the random gigantic wings that are being sold (some have been tested and some haven't) or putting risers on stock wing without know what any of that is doing.
My question would be, does this wing benefit from a front lip? I assume they probably tested it with the spoon lip which can't be bought? But also that lip just does not seem like it would do much for aero. Maybe it does but impossible to know without any data. I hope some companies will come out with some good aero products for the FL5 and pubish some data, like verus, 9lives, ect...
It does look awesome though Pho, car is coming along nicely and I enjoy watching the vids!
that would be awesome!Let me ask my friend if he can ask Spoon Japan if they can provide us with data both for the wing and lip. If he is able to get that info I will share with the group.
