Do you really notice a difference? I can see maybe on track, but for daily driving?Had Rigid Collars installed not long after I got my car. Probably one of my favorite mods to do.

Can you elaborate on the improvement for daily driving?Had Rigid Collars installed not long after I got my car. Probably one of my favorite mods to do.

The Rigid Collars helped make the chassis a little more stiff by getting rid of the gaps in the subframe, but also made driving over bumps and uneven road surfaces softer at the same time, like its absorbing more of the impact of those bumps.Do you really notice a difference? The difference will be noticed the first time you turn the steering wheel. It isolates subframe movement, so no extra NVH makes it into the cabin. An extra benefit is also that your alignment never changes under load, so the car handles more consistently. Rigid collars will do more for your car than pretty much everything short of good tires, or a tune. Can you elaborate on the improvement for daily driving?

Yes they’re recommended for every civic type r, regardless of use case. Yup better MVh, better ride, better handling. The PRLs are a good alternative to the Spoon, they do the same thing, so you don’t lose anything by going with either brand. Most go with Spion because of the brand and the fact that they came up with them ages ago for Honda chassis’. At least with PRLs you avoid the Spoon tax.So do you recommend these for just daily drivers as well? Better NVH and a better ride for daily, is that what I am hearing from you? And what is your take on PRL rigid collars? Think its worth going for those over the spoon?

I recommend it to every Type R and Si owner I discuss mods with. They make them for other brands too, GTRs, Evos, Lexus F cars, etcI def wanna avoid the spoon tax. I may have to get these then. You make it sound like it’s a must do mod, even for daily use. . The roads where I am in TN suck so anything that helps improve the rigidity and feeling of the ride is appreciated.
I ordered mine from Black Hawk Japan, was almost half the cost from buying from Spoon USA or a domestic retailer. You can even buy direct from Spoon Japan and itd be cheaper too.I def wanna avoid the spoon tax. I may have to get these then. You make it sound like it’s a must do mod, even for daily use. .
