they won't let you drive it until parts become available?I have a Type R purchase being held up due to the new steering recall. Has anyone gotten an ETA on the parts from their dealer?
The internet, so it must be real. Nevermind all these people who are already having the recall performed.Source?
talked to them this morning and they had no parts available yet for the recalli got a service appointment tomorrow morning. will ask about the recall.
I believe the new car inventory is getting priority on the repair parts so your experience does not surprise me.Cant be all the dealers - I just had the recall done on my new '24 and bought it on 10/12.
I saw something that I CANNOT CONFIRM at this point that indicated that Honda/Acura will be providing dealers with special tooling to allow them to complete this repair without dropping the subframe, and that said tool is set to go out in November. If this proves to be true, it is likely a good thing. (less to go wrong)was able to make an appointment for the recall so thought they had the parts available only to show up this morning and be told they probably wont actually get the parts till december.![]()
