I'm good for May, and I plan on Friday trip down and Monday return home. It's about 10 hours, but it helps to have some fun roads for the drive in. I-77 between West Virginia and NC state line is a lot of fun Unless it's snowing, or raining, or foggy

I am going to look at renting a garage for the weekend. I want to bring my PS4S, which means I likely won't have room for my easy-up. Maybe this winter I should buy a truck and trailer

If you’re gonna do that, make sure you get an enclosed trailer with enough room to haul tools, extra set of wheels, spare parts (brake pads, rotors, etc). Are for in car video/data review and fold up chairs for a few friends.

If you don’t have any friends, worry not. When you got a nice trailer, you will make friends.

I’m cleared with the boss to do May 23-25. I’m not sure if I want to do all 3 days. But we shall see. Either way, I need to take an extra day on Thursday and Monday just to get down there and back.

I also sent an email to On track to find out about the lodging details.

I think if we can get commitments by February 1, 2025 it would be ideal.

True. I actually don’t think the infrastructure will be there in another 10 years.
Just thinking that the battery itself would allow more distance with advancement.
So let’s go safe with a hybrid.

Full bathroom, microwave mini fridge .

There are 3 double queen suites with pull out couches
4 king suites 1 with pull out couch

7 suites total plus the large dining room/ kitchen with 1/2 bath .

It's a 6000 sq foot barnaminium
With hotel style rooms, including key code locks on every door .

The problem with electric truck is not only the infrastructure (which yes would suck to navigate an E truck to the charger with the trailer) but more with how little range you get with a trailer packed with a car and a bunch of shit, range will go from 300 to like 100 so now you are charging every 100 miles at the worst possible places.

Also cool, need to check wth wife for May but big chance I am in.
