Should’ve made this thread several weeks ago as I’m tired of dealers. I’d actually prefer to buy a clean example from an owner…

bb, RR, sgp, or cw (basically not black)

under 10k miles stock or very light mods

Would love a car with front end ppf or something that encourages me to buy used vs new .



I’m in central Ohio and would buy the car with cash. Could also ship if we did the transaction through keysaavy

Ohio is one of the easiest states to buy at MSRP or less, especially in the winter. There's a guy on Reddit that posts one every 3 months.

Carvana will give 43-45 with no hassle for a car like this.

I truly don't think carvana is giving 43-45 anymore.... (they're selling them at 46-48). The market has changed. Yes, I've already secured MSRP (I also had msrp secured back in 2024) - I was just seeing if anyone had a lightly modded nice example to save me a couple thousand (and allow them to get a couple thousand more than trade), which already has PPF, tint, etc... Would be an easy transaction given i don't need to get a loan or anything like that, which makes private party sales complicated.

I AM still looking... got close to a deal but couldn't move fast enough. Your car is really nice - I really did not want black, but let me consider it as it would be a 2nd car.

Actually, Caravana still is. Just for the fun of it, I checked my '24 w/ 2150 miles. The offer today was $44,200 to sell to them.

Great - sell it to them, thats a strong offer. Why do you guys keep crapping on this thread?

Here I am, offering cash for a car that people aren't going to get from a dealer. Carvana and even carmax have cars listed at 46, 47, 48. They're at least a 5k margin on what they're offering someone. Which puts a trade in at 41, 42, 43. Hell, alot of other dealers are at retail of 45.5-47 for what I'm describing, again what do you think the trade offer is?

My offer of 44-46 for seems pretty damn reasonable. Especially consnidering a brand new one is 49. MSRP is easily accessible now. I'd just rather buy one with a couple mods for a little bit less money from a good owner.

If you don't want to sell your car, move along and don't post on the thread.

I wasn't capping on your thread. I was just pointing out that numbers are still strong on used FL5's through online sources. If I were to sell, I would prefer to sell privately in hopes it was going to a good home. That's what I did with my FK8. Good luck on finding one. It's a fantastic vehicle.
