  2. Kazuo_WFC 2025 Civic Type R build

I have those floormats too and love the way the look, interested to see what you come up with for clips. How well is the extinguisher secured? I'd probably do passenger side too just to keep things away from my feet.

  4. Get the steering recall done or keep on trucking?

I'm at 23k miles and 2.5 years with zero steering issues. Dealer keeps calling me to do the recall and I keep brushing them off due to a few of the stories on here of people who either had serious issues after the recall, or say the steering feels less sharp/precise. I'm worried about getting...

  6. What did you do to your FL5 today?

What pre-made thing are you talking about?
  7. Aftermarket Dipstick for K20C1?

My average OCI is about 2250 miles but I might start adding an extra an extra 8 oz since it can't hurt.
  8. Aftermarket Dipstick for K20C1?

It was a high mileage camry and extreme oil consumption was a known issue with them. I'm not fancy enough for a German car
  9. Aftermarket Dipstick for K20C1?

Slightly off topic but is anyone noticing their FL5 burning oil. I'm at 25k miles and I check obsessively due to my last car going through about a qt every 1k miles. I measure the oil coming out during oil changes and it's always dead on 5.5 qts, so I refill with 5.5 qts which always put me...

  11. Rear brake pads

If you're just street driving, I'd do dixcel M pads, front and rear. Virtually no brake dust, inexpensive, and plenty of performance for the street.
  12. Bummed so far with FL5 aftermarket exhaust sound

If you ever plan on doing a downpipe, I would try that first with the stock exhaust and maybe a frontpipe. A lot of people are very happy with that setup, myself included. I was planning on doing the Tomei or A'pexi because I like the two giant bazookas look but decided against it once I heard...
  13. Low Speed Wheel Squeaking Noise

I've had a few rocks in the dust shields so I know what that's like. After changing front and rear pads and having the rear rotors resurfaced I now have the low speed squeak/ chirp sound. Usually only get it up until the first time I hit 25-30 mph then it's gone for the rest of the ride even...
  14. ATTN: High Mileage Owners: Any Issues with Carbon Buildup?

I asked a Honda master technician who daily drives an FK8 if he recommended catch cans, or using an intake valve cleaner periodically. He said the best thing you can do is to just drive it like a sports car is meant to be driven. Get it hot and take it for as many long drives as you can. He...
