Hello all.

Anyone on here know which filter tool works with RTA filters?

I heard that the factory tool doesn't grip it (?) Sounds suspicious, but the guy who told me this is a boss in my eyes and a king to my heart, so I believed him. Is he making an anus of me?

For S2000's, there is a Lisle tool which works better than OEM.

Is there something like this for the RTA filter?

I'm talking about the tool mentioned in the photo below. I would like to use it to torque the filter.

Thanks!

How many flutes? Or does any 65mm tool have the same amount?
I don't know off the top of my head, don't you have the filters on hand? You should be able to count it on the filters or look it up.

I mean...true. But couldn't you just look it up and tell me? That way we'd both know.
I'm not the one that needs a tool to change their oil filter. I already have one. Good luck.

Are you using the tool to tighten or remove? If it's removal, I ended up buying one of those jaw-esque filter tools.

If it's tightening then good luck lol, I went through like 3 before giving up. Luckily I have a friend who had the right part. We actually tested of the amount of turns on the filter (3 and 3/4? I forget what the side says) was correct for the specified torque, and it was pretty close if you do it by hand. So there's always that option.
