Haven't really had an issue like that, but from what I've seen from other posts and videos that its the clutch damper that may be causing it to feel like you're being locked out when trying to shift.

Was actually looking into possibly picking up this heat shield. Does it actually do what is described and helps lower under hood temps and protects against heat soak?

If you think that is expensive, you should look up some of the caps for aftermarket wheels. Some of the Rays Volk center caps are over $100 each. Those caps that you have look like they are from other trim models like the Touring and Sport. Those are black with the silver logo.

That mostly applies to international markets. The US model does not have the pop-up hood system.

Might need to double check the gap, but for the most part they look normal.

Out running errands. Some jerk in a Challenger almost hit me, I was able to avoid getting into an accident, but the rear right tire rubbed the curb before I could turn back out completely, at least it saved the wheel. Going to be getting a new tire, just in case.

That's a decent idea, but I would want to take the power bank in with me and not leave it inside a car, unless its one that is able to take the heat like those backup batteries made for dash cams.
