Hi all,
After 6 track weekends last year I noticed that the dust boots on my front OEM Brembos were destroyed, so in December I did a full caliper rebuild and changed seals and dust boots (used the ones from Girodisc). I only started tracking last year, and I only checked the boots later in the...
I bled all 4 and then did the EPB cycle x 5, bled rears agian, EPB cycle x 5 and bled rears one more time. I heard that air might get into the ABS if large amounts of air are introduced in the system (like with a caliper rebuild), and that regular bleeding would not remove that air trapped in...
@TimeRacer, curious to know if you found a good tool for this. Bled all corners thoroughly, but still have a spongy pedal so my feeling is that I need to do the ABS bleed as I suspect air got in there and a regular bleed won't solve it. Same as you, my current Autel tool allows me to retract the...
Do you still have the calipers available? If so:

Any advice from the more seasoned wheel connoisseurs? In my case this set would be mostly for track...
Big fan of Garmin Catalyst as well. I’ve found that it’s very easy to use, with a simple interface and just the right amount of data — at least for beginner like me. A bit pricey but totally worth it IMO.
Thanks @BigBird, @PointByPatrol. Great info here. On instruction, I have to agree and pretty much fits what I got that weekend with NASA. My instructor was good and definitely help me to correct important things / habits on track, but it was more of a "pick me up before the session" kind of...
Sharing here my experience in my second-ever track weekend, this time running with NASA at Homestead.
First of all, and I think in agreement with all the other novices in this thread, it was a blast. I thought I got hooked the first time I went but now it’s even better. Can’t wait for the next...
I installed today front and rear FX3D splash guards. Super solid product. Fits like a glove in the FL5 (at least the last iteration). Loved that they look great, discrete, unlike some other rally type options out there that are just too much. Instructions were super clear and took me about an...
