  1. DSC Sport Controller Suspension Module

Did you load your modified map as the Type R mode map? Which I saw this thread before my track day so I could have made some tweaks but overall, I was thrilled with it as well out of the box.
  2. DSC Sport Controller Suspension Module

So I just got back from a weekend at VIR, a track I know very well, using the DSC for the first time there. Biggest things I noticed in Type R mode was it was way less bouncy. Hitting the gators in the Upper Esses at 100mph+ did not upset the chassis or cause bounciness. The left/right...
  3. Annual Type R/Type S Track Event at VIR!!!

Really? I emailed them a while back to invite them and didn’t get a confirmation
  4. Annual Type R/Type S Track Event at VIR!!!

@Maya@DSC any word on if DSC is coming? A few of us have DSC modules so no better time to get real telemetry for tuning!
  5. AWE Touring - 2 Months Old - Cracked

You might want to pick a word besides "bespoke". That usually means it's custom-made to a customer's exact specs vs being from a template. I would like to assume you're making them based on some repeatable template/process, even if you don't have a batch of them sitting around waiting to ship...
  6. Which Aftermarket Exhaust Do You Have?

I put on the Magnalflow exhaust and I've been pretty happy with it. @PointByPatrol helped me do the install and it was basically flawless on fit. The only thing I had to do was buy bolts to attach the OEM valve controller. It comes with resonator and straight midpipe. Straight is LOUD and ANGRY...
  7. DSC Sport Controller Suspension Module

Type R mode is closer to DE5 than FL5. The FL5 would rattle your teeth out. The DSC doesn’t do that nor does the DE5 module. I really need to drive the car at limit to test Type R. This not the season or place to do it.
  8. DSC Sport Controller Suspension Module

Not sure where you read this, but as far as I've seen, Individual simply lets you define a combination of settings, but isn't doing anything more than that. Given the Icepocalypse in my area, I won't be driving the car in the next 3-4 days. That being said, if you watch the video I linked in an...
  9. DSC Sport Controller Suspension Module

I just skimmed this. Def more people active but also looks like some of revisions are people running non stock springs. I see that Maya from DSC is active over there. I pointed her via email to this thread. Would be great if DSC was involved in this forum too. I even invited DSC to join our Type...
  10. DSC Sport Controller Suspension Module

Got my DSC installed and did some driving today. I previously had the DE5 controller. Initial impressions: Biggest difference is in comfort mode. It's more compliant over bumps without being too soft in corners. I just spent 30 min driving my usual roads in my individual settings but with...

The XP20's are like $250 for a front set so while they don't last as long, they aren't stupidly priced. I looked at a Ferodo's but the price was absurd.
  12. .

For everyone else, this is a running joke (but true) because I like Carbotech pads, which are great, but a front set of XP20s won't last more than 3-4 track days because I am a late and heavy braker. I also prefer to change my track pads at the track and when I leave the track so when we do...

I appreciate the self awareness. Sorry for the insult. I too was being a little snarky because of your snarkiness. Cheers back.
  14. .

You said you were new to track days so I was trying to provide some friendly advice. You didn't say you had any of that stuff when @TypeRVA mentioned it. Try being less of a dick. People here are genuinely trying to be helpful.

    See you Saturday night, buddy.
