Pea-shooter aesthetic is no bueno. To be expected, the exhaust note is ok to meh but for the price I would want more. Mugen makes quality and I get the JDM "want" so good luck with it fella.
I think you are confusing obsession with opinion.
IMO if its going to be white wheels my strong preference would be CW in this instance.
I personally would never put any white wheel on the car for the reason most understand (brake dust/dirt etc.).
Bottomline:
It takes a special kind of...
I am all for the white on white as long as the white we are speaking of is Championship White. Just not a fan of a brighter white wheel against the CW. Also the wingless look is no bueno for me. The car will look more cohesive with a CW spoiler< ask me how I know>.
Either way, thanks for...
Sounds like an FL5.
If you want more noise than stock <most do that's why we bought an exhaust> there really is very little difference to my ears if you are focusing on a slightly deeper tone than stock but one that doesn't shout "look at me, I'm an adolescent dishrag".
At this point its just...
Bling and cred aside I just cant get past the pea shooter / dog's balloon knot single exit. To me it is the least aesthetically pleasing exhaust choice. What's also ironic is that most of them are ridiculously priced and don't even sound that much more aggressive than stock. Either way...
Eye opening what this car can do in the proper hands. Stiggy gave it a proper flogging and for a car that was down over 125+HP to the 550HP Golf R I'd say that's a respectable lap time. It's rubbing elbows with some pretty heavy hitter cars on that list as well. Amazing what a slow, FWD...
Oh cool. I will not be tracking the car but would never so no to more more grip etc. I will look into this as I am getting the car ready for summer . Cheers
Will pulling the pins and getting that -1 of camber really be more noticeable on my car if it is only lowered on H&R's (.8/.6 ) ? I am running a taller 35 profile tire so I have less wheel gap and more cushion for shit roads around here.
For reference - I have the stockers(+60) on my car with 20 mm spacer up front (resulting offset +40) and 25 out back (resulting offset +35) and there is zero poke. Stock camber. I am on H&R's and running a 265/35/ 19 Mich Pilot Sport A/S tire. IMO a +45 would not be flush but thats with my eye...
