Here are the results after 2 heavy track days at COTA in the Advanced group on 275/35 19 Pirelli PZero Corsa Track tires.
Positives:
1) The extra side wall feels very good, more compliant vs than racing on 265/30 19's OEM 4S DT1's or Cup 2's
2) Tires wore evenly vs 30 inch profiles
Negatives...
Can anyone else confirm this 275/35/19 works on track during cornering loads and maximum forces?
Here is why I'm concerned, you can see it's getting really close to the fender, and this is a stock car with only negative camber ball joints in front ---
Would appreciate anyone's feedback that...
Thanks for the feedback. I've only run the stock tire size on track both the 4s and Cup 2 --Curious have you tracked the tire on this configuration? And if so what was your experience in gearing, speed, balance, etc vs running on stock tire size 265/30/19?
Has any one tracked tires in this size, without any rub. I'm racing COTA next week, and have to be 1000% sure. I'm on stock suspension, stock ride height, stock OEM Rims. I was not sure if I saw anyone tracking this tire size on stock rims. My only suspension modification is ball joints ~ 3...
I rode in the back of a brand new Honda Civic sport 2026 and it was gosh-awful road noise and it made me realize how badly insulated these vehicles are from the factory and I could hear a ton of road noise coming back from those wheel arches in the rear. I hope Honda figures out a low cost way...
This is great information especially for those running 5k-10k miles between oil changes. All this data and conversations are coming to a head, which is replacing your engine oil a lot more frequently at 2000 3000 miles and transmission fluid eliminates particles floating through the system and...
I did have a small honda Dallas dealership somehow install the honda filter and break the oil filter, or maybe it was faulty, and it leaked, but probably human error as they had also under-filled the oil, and didn’t screw in my under tray. This is a very interesting topic on oil filters...
Another interesting video regarding GM trying many types of engine oils and viscosities. The engine temperature was exponentially the biggest factor in engine wear out of all the variables they have tried according to GM. It didn't matter what engine oil it was or viscosities or mineral oil or...
I agree - I have no reference or baseline for other oils and viscosities - to understand feel. I am initially sticking with OEM until I get a good stable containment level baseline - then I hope to take the communities advice on the next best trans oil and then see what the blackstone results...
This is why it’s critical to change your motor oil and transmission oil frequently in breaking in both. Removing contaminants until you see a stabilization in Parts per million. Looks like the engine is stabilized, but the transmission needs a few more flushes. The transmission fluid on my...

I'm curious about that as well - I've tried it with them and without - but have no data on actual temps - with them on the Paragon Titanium - they just kind of float and are not very snug with contact on the pads, which doesn't seems like the best design
