The K20C1 PCV system is pretty good at doing it's job when compared to other DI cars. However, it's still not perfect and some oil vapors do get by. I haven't heard much about our engines with high mileage having valve carbon deposit issues, perhaps the rate the oil vapors are getting by the PCV...

Catch cans still good a preventative mod to valve carbon buildup. I have about 1k miles since last checked and caught not a lot, but it's something that would've gone back into the intake manifold and valves.

If you have a dremel, you can cut a knotch to fit a flat head screwdriver.

If that's the case, then it may not even fit 11th Gen Civic Hatchbacks at all. Maybe they sent you the wrong visor? This is a screenshot of the OEM window visor, and the models it fits.

I believe 11th Gen Civic window visors should be compatible among all 11th Gen Civic Hatchbacks, including the FL5.

I wasn't a believer in catch cans on this platform but went ahead and installed one anyways. Collected this amount of oil not even 100 miles. Imagine what it will collect in 5k miles.
