ECU jailbreak done remotely by SergeBo! Have to say the process was super easy. He quickly facilitated transfer of the cabling tool among the users, and went step by step as to not screw anything up. He's totally legit and highly recommend him for remote jailbreaking.

I tried something different this time around clearing the DTC and that was disconnecting the battery terminal. I remember didn't do that when I swapped filters. The car did it's initializing after connecting the battery back, and notice the car seems to drive better? Could be in my head but...

Bring this up to Honda if still under warranty, or bring it to their attention if not. I'm sure they do not want this accelerator pedal failure story to get out to the general public, might fix it as good gesture and get their hands on the failed pedal unit to investigate.

I'm curious how the car knows the gas pedal broke off to trigger DTC's. Unless somehow the potentiometer in the accelerator housing is damaged as well.
