  1. Did a thing today... Resonator Delete

That is only for deleting the resonator from the Milltek exhaust, not the stock setup.
  2. Did a thing today... Resonator Delete

I installed the MRT resonator delete a few weeks ago. Be aware that the pipe is not expanded at the ends. It is almost exactly the same diameter as the stock exhaust piping. I had to go to a local parts shop and rent and exhaust expander in order to get the MRT pipe to slip over the factory...
  3. Pinch Weld Lift Pads - ZL1 vs Versus

I tried to buy the ZL1 pads, but just ended up filing a credit card dispute with them. I ordered over 4 weeks ago and at the time their website showed that the parts were in-stock. I still haven't recieved them and can't get ZL1 to respond to me via phone or email.
  4. Icehawk's "OEM+" speaker upgrade

It looks like these tweeter plugs aren't being shipped to the US anymore. Has anyone been able to find another source for them?
  5. *The FL5 Track Junkie Thread*

I'm running -2.5 degrees up front which clearly isn't enough. This was my front left tire after two track days. I will probably go to -3.0 degrees up front before my next track day.
  6. Running EBC SR-11 brake pads as a dual purpose pad?

I don't have any experience with SR-11 pad, but I would advise against the Paragon P3. They were the worst brake pads I have ever owned. The P3 claims to be dual purpose, but they are terrible at everything. They can't handle track duty and they make a lot of noise on the street.
  7. Why don't people import the FL5 from outside the US? - Random Question

We don't do it because we aren't legally allowed to. Until a car is 25 years old, it is very difficult, if even possible, to legally import a car into the US.
  8. Delivery UPDATE: After 1+ year of debate...FL5 incoming!

I have the PRL RMM and do get some vibration at idle with the A/C on. It is a little annnoying but definately worth the trade-off IMO. Hardrace recently released their RMM. I haven't seen any reviews on it, but their products tend to have softer bushings that transmit less NVH...
  9. *The FL5 Track Junkie Thread*

Understood. Thanks for the feedback. Did you notice any difference in coolant temps, or just oil?
  10. *The FL5 Track Junkie Thread*

Is there any concensus on whether vented spalsh guards are actually effective at reducing coolant temps? PLM has theirs on sale for $250 plus an additional 5% off today, so I'm thinking about pulling the trigger.
  11. Head-to-Head comparison of tunes for stock FL5 cars. Round 2.

I thought this was an interesting question, so I figured it out. Assumptions: The pump hose has 1/3 gallon of 87 octane fuel FL5 fuel tank is 12.4 gallons Results: If you always fill up at 50%, you will have an actual octane rating of 92.68. If you always fill up near empty, you will have an...
  12. Would you track a Civic Si?

You can absolutely take an SI to the track. If you are new to HPDE's you'll have fun in just about anything. However, if you end up getting hooked and want to do a lot of track days, the Type R might actually be more affordable in the long run. It will likely require less modifications and it...
  13. Do you regret any mods?

I have the PRL collars. All of the positive reviews are what convinced me to give these a try. I haven't driven all that hard, since the install. I have a track day in a few weeks though. I will come back and ammend my original post if my opinion changes.
  14. Do you regret any mods?

I regret the subframe rigid collars. I had a really hard time believing that they would actually do anything, but I grabbed a set on Black Friday. I have had them installed for two weeks now and I can confidently say that they did nothing for the feel of the car. I'm sure they will make it...
