The more I look at the HRC concept, I think it’s the facelift. If you look at the front bumper, the lip extends further and the surround around the lower intake portion is different. I think maybe the little upper canards might also be built in. I also notice that all the windows are blacked...
The official Honda press release says the type r will be updated “this year” so I kinda have a feeling they’re talking about the 2026. Otherwise I think they would have said next year.
Btw the wording on the official Honda press release is “this year”, which leads me to think the 2026 is getting the refresh, not the 2027.

No I'm not expecting that, I just don't understand what the rationale is behind Honda not launching the HRC stuff this late into the vehicle life cycle. Maybe they're gonna sell them after production ends? I guess as a way to continue making money off existing owners maybe lol.
Well they just showed the HRC concept, and it seems to just be the current FL5 with some add-ons. But they announced no details about any of the parts. Why are they still developing these if the car is reaching the end of its run?
