Most likely becuase its from Honda JP and there is no communication with Honda JP and NA. Wouldn't be surprised if that people who work for Honda NA corporate are just as surprised as we are because they received this information last minute.

All of the aftermarket exhausts don't sound good imo, its just the engine, could be because of the 3 tipped exhaust. Even the TCR and TC Race cars dont sound that good. You just gotta accept it. I think getting a downpipe with the stock exhaust or a resonator would be a better setup, the car...
