This one looks good. I wasnāt sold on the little vortex generators at first but i like the idea behind it. Well over 1K shipped from Japan and an 8 month wait after checking. https://www.noblesse-japan.com/noblesse_fl5_bodykit.html
I havenāt decided if this is something I need but, I did look at spoon mirrors too and noticed the serial number from the OP, 76203-FL1-030, is different than spoon usa offer, 76203-FE1-A30 for the FL5. One search hit I got for the first number specified it was a JDM fitment or RHD. Nothing to...
Hereās mine from Axis. The console weave is very consistent, covers all the aluminum, has even surfaces and well defined shapes. It kind of looks negative mold formed. Carbon 6th looks vacuum bagged. Hereās a pic of it before installation. Decent thickness too so it isnāt casually flexible.
If the type r is equivalent to the Porsche GT cars for Honda, I imagine those are hard to test drive in the same way unless you are taking it out just prior to closing the deal on your order that came in.
fyi, my 991 was manual 7spd, but because of how fast I needed to drive it to waken it up...
Dream automotive carries them now. I ordered a center console direct from Japan a while back, weave is straight, finish is perfect and coverage is good. Price is outstanding ordered direct, just took a few months to get.
Would you be able to post a picture of the rear wiper delete from a similar angle but capturing the whole car? Iād like to see how it cleans up the look.
Iām debating the usefulness of a rear wiper also as even on previous cars that may have had it, I donāt think Iāve used it. Iāve not driven...
Got bored, so I made some Honda red badge centercaps for these inexpensive aftermarket wheels that I had for sale but, this came out pretty decent so I withdrew them. I should run emā¦yeah?
The ITR had a 1.8 liter engine vs the 1.6 in the CTR. More torque in the larger engine. I think you should be able to google CTR vs ITR 1998 and youāll get some period correct reading. I believe the ITR was slightly faster.
I had a 98 ITR and the knob it came with was just a standard leather covered one. I swapped it for the titanium teardrop jdm one. That was the look carried over into the fl5. Maybe it changed for 2001?
I loved that car but, it was always urgent on every drive. Non car people never rode with me...
Good timing, I just swapped the overland shift boot in from the pleather original. Fitment is perfect, even the parts you donāt see. I chose the DIY boot.
Just a word of warning for anyone using the OE front license plate holder, the bumper and paint are super soft and the back of the holder braces against the bumper with only two thin plastic cards. Any slight impact will drive those cards into the bumper and you will have grooves there. It could...
I see a new wheel fitment available for back ordering. 18x10.5 +47. That would be the same internal spacing and 26mm towards the fender. For an inch extra rim, tire size would probably have to be a 285. I mean if youāre gonna make a new wheel for the fl5 platform, go big or go home. Nicely done...
