So I got these installed Last friday, along with an alignment and wheel rotation/balance to top it all off. These things are fantastic! We have some rough roads here in TN in places and these collars make the car feel that much more tightened down, and planted to the road. Its a weird...
**Update - ordered** lol
Think I am about to order these. I just hope it makes the type of noticeable difference you and some others are saying. I've been researching online and I'm coming across multiple varying opinions. Some say it did nothing to their cars (these were other car...
I def wanna avoid the spoon tax. I may have to get these then. You make it sound like itās a must do mod, even for daily use. :). The roads where I am in TN suck so anything that helps improve the rigidity and feeling of the ride is appreciated.
So do you recommend these for just daily drivers as well? Better NVH and a better ride for daily, is that what I am hearing from you? And what is your take on PRL rigid collars? Think its worth going for those over the spoon?
Ya itās all gonna depend on how the roads are in your area and how often you drive. I daily mine over a wide variety of roads and inclines/declines and value function over form lol
Best 200 Iāve spent on the car. I daily mine and roads here range from ass to meh smooth bumpy ass lol. Comfort still feels very ātype rā like, not dull. Find myself staying in sport most often now and R mode is actually usable and not throwing me out of the seat on a curvy bumpy road. I would...
I have the GU lip and am not lowered. Iāve only scraped in a couple instances but the driveway entrances to the business were angled really weird. Didnāt scrape going in but coming out was more difficult.
I didnāt drill with it. It came with plenty of hardware and self tapping screws which hold...
I have it and the box and wire is ran up and placed in the trunk/hatch area underneath the fix a flat unit. I donāt know of anything that runs to the engine bay or fuse box. The wire connects to the valve controller of the exhaust and communicates with the remote.
Random question, sorry. Were you running hub rings with these? If so, did you not have any issues with the adapters/caps and the hub rings when mounted?
I figured as much. I bought the larger ones prl made for it so Iām fine. Was curious how they initially made stock work though if prl had stated otherwise.
Wheel owners that use hub rings and have wheel cap adapters.......what do yall do when you have this issue?
I ordered wheel cap adapters for my TE37SL. The wheel cap adapters will fit but not with my hub rings on. I was always told, and from what I read, that to keep vibrations from...
