Im not on the FBIās most wanted list so I did 35% ceramic tints all around as well, with my windshield being 80%. I lowkey want to go just a tad bit darker, but satisfied with what I got lol.
I mean.. you could just save some money and get the double FRP and not spend as much as me.
But If you think 2k is lot for a FRP top and CF bottom from Exceed Japan, definitely check out Spoons Carbon Fiber lip (Race Version) or even Mugenās (Group B) pricing just for a front lip.. not to...
Not familiar with those engines.. but I do know that TSP also sells a smaller version of the HEDP (4.5ā 400 cell), but just designed for the 1.5T. Since itās a GESI cat, I would also assume no tune required and no CEL.
Hit up āstickydiljoeā on instagram, very close friends with Yasu from Exceed Japan.
I paid over 2k for my lip, so I would assume double CF would be much more expensive. This is NOT to include, paint match, clear coat (carbon fiber came in a matte finish) and PPF that I have done to my lip.
Battlecraft Parts is the US distributor for Exceed Japan, though good luck with wait times as EJ is not a huge production shop. Donāt forget the additional fees too since it ships straight from Japan, I still paid a fee even before the tariffs.
You can purchase a double FRP or FRP top/Carbon...
The TSP high efficiency Downpipe does not need a tune, and will not give you a CEL, but it is recommend for optimal performance. Reason being for not needing tune or experiencing any CEL is because it has a huge 5ā 400 cell GESI G-Sport cat.
Typically your smaller cell aftermarket downpipes...
Damn, my FL5 is a daily driver with spirited driving every once in awhile. Earlier this year, around April, I went to my local Honda dealership for the worm gear recall, and Honda mentioned that my rear pads were just about to be finished (car had 33k miles) with the fronts still around 40-50%...
Interesting! Another alternative I used with my PRL carbon fiber intake was aFeās Takeda PRO Dry S air filter. I know when it comes to dry synthetic filters, AEM and aFe Power are one of the best options out there, with K&N following closely behind.
OEM filters are obviously still the best...
"First we will display the protomodel of the front spoiler and engine hood at the auto salon, and of course we will have several types of wings ready for you to see"
Slightly difficult.. only because I was by myself lol. But you only need to drill into the OEM bumper, attach the lip with the included bolts, then simply install your FRP or Carbon fiber splitter with the remaining bolts.
Damn.. I didnāt even know the Garage Unique wing was discontinued. Iām gonna appreciate mine much more now. I currently have mine paired with Cusco Risers, and recently got it back from paint.
Exceed Japan also has an OEM style wing, itās slightly bigger and has sharper angles compared to...
Nice! My HKS BOV finally just shipped today, I had to wait a little bit longer than usual, but thatās because I bought the full recirculating kit. Curious to see how itāll sound like with my RV6 carbon inlet and Infinity Design intake. I would assume itāll be slightly muffled, but still noticeable.
Just like the FK8 variant, HKS offers a recirculating version on the FL5 for those who donāt want to vent to atmosphere.
But If youāre just chasing for noise and donāt want any issues, best option is to simply upgrade your air intake and inlet.
If youāre still curious, Iād recommend hitting up...
If you donāt have a stud removal tool, you can attempt the double nut method. Not sure if you have time on your hands but I soaked the studs with penetrating lubricant overnight and use a dedicated removal tool and they came off easily in the morning. Iām sure you can also use heat to help with...
As already mentioned from TSP, Drob from IMW is able to give you a custom tune, heās my tuner as well. I drove up to him for a custom calibration and dyno and he was able to get 571 HP and 454 TQ on a E45 blend. So far, the car It has over 6000 miles and no complaints! Nothing but pure fun out...
