Both brands have there plus and minus. So I'm not really sure and was hoping for some insight. I can't store a spare set of wheels and tires right now. I just bought some new ps4s about a month ago. A was planning on AP however I got some great feedback and a hell of a price. On paragon.
I've been really fortunate. The tires currently are not factory. If upgrading to a bbk doesn't give me the feeling I'm looking for then what makes you think I wouldn't try to address it a different way . I enjoy modifications and enjoy driving. Once I finish this car I will start on my next one.
All of my problems are good ones to have. I actually put it in my Op.
However to give you a little bit of background on my zero experience. From 05-08 I owned a shop in Hollywood Florida. I purchased two evolutions. One for drag racing and one for time attack. I had Robert fuller aka robispec...
3600 even without wheels is not far away from the AP kit and more expensive then paragon. That's pretty much what I have in my Op for some reason that's been overlooked.
As far as the light coming on bud I've probably had every light at some point during the past year. If I drove the car...
So you didn't read the OP you just decide to diagnose the situation with your 100% opinion. Neglecting or no comprehension applied.
I guess you could say judgement was passed at that point.
That post was just to reinforce my assumption.
I don't believe anyone is ganging up on me. This is the internet and people have different opinions and experiences. However I'm not going to overlook my own experience.
Truthfully I won't be running on ps4s forever. That seems to have escaped the chat lol
@ctechauto
I will give you my email address and I'd like a invoice that includes
Rotors
Pads
Shims
Ss lines
18x10 wheels
200tw tires
If you can give me a better price then I can get Paragon and AP for...
Perceptions aren't really high on my list and judgements of strangers isn't really becoming of anyone. Ask PointByPatrol you would probably like me. I don't even have social media lol
Yes I was seeking information between specific upgrades from people who have experience with these nothing...
I get it and everyone has a different risk tolerance. You were at VIR with gears and gasoline so you know that things can happen on or off track. Why you don't think the car can be tested on touge doesn't really make sense to me and that's cool. I realize that this thread has turned into what...
This I know. I'm in a similar situation as you were in. I've got a house just outside of Boston and I'm going to relocate to TN,NC or KY however my car is in NC and I really can't stock up parts till I decided what I'm going to do with my house. So changing wheels isn't a option right now. So I...
I sold my oem wheels. Not sure if you remember I'm thinking about just getting bigger regamasters for the track when I decide to actually do a track day. However I'll probably just use this setup to see if I even like doing a track day.
Hold up so so y'all " just get 200tw and pads" will magically take care of everything guys. Are you telling me that you keep those tires on year round? What happens when the temperature drops in fall and winter. Post your cold weather 200tw wheel and tires setup please.
Depending on how far I take gutting and cage will dictate if I take it off the street.
I definitely get fade and that's what I'm trying to correct. So when I priced pads, rotors, lines, shims and fluid to use with brembos the price doesn't really make sense. So If I did those and bought new...
Yes a lot of factors come into play on those roads. They can be as demanding on your car as you want them to be. One thing you don't want is inconsistent brakes. I've never "cooked " them however I don't really like having to adjust the way I drive because of the way my brakes are acting.
The stopping distance isn't really the issue. More so the consistency. For example on the Cherohala Skyway when the car was stock. The consistency is fine. 400+ the consistency in the last 1/4 isn't the same. The kinetic energy from the acceleration plays a big factor. As post #1 states thought...
I was talking with mike b aka gridzilla he has experience with both brands. In his opinion Ap didn't justify the performance to cost ratio over paragon. All the modifications were chosen for a specific reason. I'm getting different suspension because the car is going into a bit of a different...
Did you not read post #1 idiot is very harsh criticism. I know these brembos very well from owing evo8 and evo9 now they're on my fl5. It's ironic that you are saying that
Bbk are superior then the oem system and that you want to get some in a few years. But as for me wanting them it's not...
For the price that I can get the Paragon kit for would blow your mind. I'm still waiting on some new Ap pricing being worked out. It's pretty funny how anyone could argue against upgrading the brakes on performance cars. However the only negative is from people who have basically stock cars. The...
The way you assume things I find comical. No need to gaslight vendors it's not a good look. Because you ''sell'' or just list on your website doesn't really mean you have experience with a specific part.
I've gotten great advice since I made this thread. People who actually have the parts and...
