I'd be more confident in something like that rather than aftermarket.
To me there's just something about them that doesn't really inspire confidence in using them.
Also I'm a little worried about the integrity of re drilling the rims. They are stress test for something other than 5 x 120...
With all of the money you spend on different wraps. You could could just save and buy the rest of the intake. The inlet isn't really doing anything on the stock turbo lol
Not much goes into building a dp. it's literally two pieces of pip welded to a cat.
However it's not a very good look for someone at 27won to be talking down on someone else company especially when they are not here to defend themselves.
Don't listen to these guys. There's a bunch of fl5 running around with 500+ stock gearbox. If you're going to drag race and launch it often things will break.
Fl5 has a really great oem exhaust system. However a lot of people just want to change the tone of it.
I've seen a bunch of threads here with people going back to stock It's never performance related though.
End of the day sprung/unsprung weight has performance benefits.
Keep us posted on this experiment. I thought about buying a built head. Was told that for my power there is no benefits.
I'm FBO, fuel system + flex fuel with kuro upgrade. I'm building for response closer to OEM don't want more than 450hp though.
It's on sale right now. They were selling for over 2k. It's hard to justify for 2k over recognized brands with similar prices. Vivid is going to sell out of them quickly.
I've never seen anyone say that the tomei exhaust is ali baba and it's cheaper as well as made in China lol
The coloring is not my cup of tea. As far as the welds go they look adequate no metal is blown through.
Doesn't look like it's overly restricted decent flow and it's lighter than OEM.
Don't even know why these ain't flying off the shelves. Guy's are going crazy for a new stainless steel exhaust that's at a minimum 30lb heavier than oem exhaust and close to 3k SMDH
