Why are you being a douche? Frank Brown Honda of Lubbock, TX is a msrp dealer. Expect 1-2 a year. Happy bud? I deleted my comment due to your objection. It asked a reason for my deletion and I put Whitboy82 is a douche. That ok?
Welp. Could say the same for your posts about my posts. I don't call daily, but I do make it a point to ask what their anticipated ADM is. Someone started this thread and I replied to it. I've got about 20-25 dealers I've called. I'm getting the worst out of the way. Bottom line is, these first...
Wanna contribute? The shitty markups are EVERYWHERE. Why the hell would I risk 50 people on this forum calling someone I spoke with that gets 1 or 2 a year at MSRP. I like you all, but I don't love you.
One more reason to move to Aus. Went there 3 times in the 3 years prior to the pandemic. Great standard of living. Cities rival America's best. Better employer matching on retirement. Super jealous. America sucks in alot of ways compared to Aus now! Wife works in financial sector and we've...
People that are dedicated Hondaphiles just want the most badass Honda they can get. I don't look at other brands because I know 20 years down the line my car will still be running. If I had 150k set aside for a car I'd still be buying the Type R and prob an old NSX. Other makers don't exist to...
Nobody wanting a Type R would settle for one of those lazy ass luxury vehicles. Again, in most big markets you can't find anything at MSRP currently. A 50k car runs 60-65k in Texas. This is a Honda forum. People want a top tier Honda, not a low to mid range Bummer.
This is just not true at the moment. People who are financially responsible and essentially "well off" will still be "well off" if we enter a full blown recession. The lower class and lower middle class are the ones that suffer., and they've been priced out of "nice" new cars for quite sometime...
I advise everyone to do the same. First, it feels good. It feels good to tell a scumbag to f* off. Second, dealers need to know that what amounts to a 50pct markup is predatory. Call out dealers on social media and google reviews for this kind of b.s. 5k. 10k. I get it. 20k? Get f'd bud.
I was told by an Austin dealer, "good luck" and "gonna have to be in right place at right time." Wouldn't take my info down because first come, first serve. Said everytime they had a Type R a customer was basically waiting to buy as soon as it was unloaded. Don't wanna give up, but this kinda...
Every dealer I've spoken with in Dallas/Ft. Worth has said $5k over won't get it done. More like $10k over. FFS! I'd do $5k over. $10k over can get stuffed!
