I've been told $20k by 2 dealers in Dallas/Ft. Worth (Honda of Denton, Honda of Grapevine). Consensus for DFW seems to be between $10-20k over.

US spec always weighs more due to additional crash equipment because of stricter safety regulations.

Nobody wanting a Type R would settle for one of those lazy ass luxury vehicles. Again, in most big markets you can't find anything at MSRP currently. A 50k car runs 60-65k in Texas. This is a Honda forum. People want a top tier Honda, not a low to mid range Bummer.

This is just not true at the moment. People who are financially responsible and essentially "well off" will still be "well off" if we enter a full blown recession. The lower class and lower middle class are the ones that suffer., and they've been priced out of "nice" new cars for quite sometime...
