Each to their own but disagree - there is a thriving community and mine has increased 50% in value the past 2 years. That pays for any maintenance and then some. They're generally regarded ded as peak 'M' car. It's all about finding that rare good one - they are still out there ?
99% of cars have had subframe sorted now, and many have had rod bearings. These things definitely need doing. Bit lost on the quality point though - interior build quality is high unless you pick up a battered one. I don't know anyone that's had bits fall off ?♂️
It's my garage queen. I'm lucky that I have a low mileage, mint manual one for summer use & roadtrips. Once the big jobs are done it's just a case of keeping on top of maintenance.
Buy the best you can afford!
I can highly recommend an E46 M3 - that raw visceral experience is exactly what I was after and I had to go through a few cars before I found it in the E46. That is a car I will never sell ?
I wouldn't worry about this, it really won't be evident or look as pronounced in real life. Unfortunately we only have pictures to dissect and the same happens with all cars.
I also have an Emira on order and people have been really going in on the seal line on the bonnet, pointing out how...
I'm not confused about anything.
There doesn't appear to be any embargo dates circulating that would indicate production vehicles have made it to journalists. There are no comments or leaked photos of cars going down the production line suggesting that only pre-production vehicles exist...
I'm not sure that anything has actually changed here, other than all of the delusional people here thinking they're going to order next month and receive it the month after ??
This is BS, bit like saying all Ferraris have to be red. I've bought champ white before, bit like most ppl buy their first Ferrari in red. I'll be having something different this time ?
...because no one knows!
To keep it OT - Mugen is the official tuning arm, bit like BMW M Performance parts. Spoon is a spin off specialist company the build race cars and race car quality parts so are generally better engineered.
It's functional at speed and on the track, you're not going to notice it day to day even when pushing on. Just curious on people's thoughts anyway - I may do this.
They offered the Accord Type R in the UK with the slimline wing for the same reason, plus the FK8 Type R sportline
Out of interest, is anyone thinking of removing the rear wing and (possibly) adding the regular civic boot spoiler. Thinking it would be a good sleeper
This seems to be how many modern cars are released these days - this is nothing new. Just be patient! Everyone is used to instant gratification and no one has patience anymore ??
