No guarantee on the exhaust question but the downpipe works with stock setup past that and I could only imagine the exhaust is meant to work with stock downpipes. So the only possible "issue" I could see is different pipe diameters where they meet at the flange.
It's under "disables" I believe...
how are the intake temps with that? I'd built a custom 3.5" intake that was that same basic design but ended up stuffing my filter back in the wheelwell and hogging out some holes in that fake grille to get the temps closer to ambient.
I don't ever use brake hold so I am not sure but I thought if you do run around with brake hold on that the parking brake sets itself after you shut off the car. Maybe only a 6MT thing??? I swear I tried it when I first got the car and that's what happened.
Is it just me or does anybody else...
I don't know this for sure because I have a non Si but the way ktuner works for me is in eco AND normal, if I choose to disable rev hang it is disabled. only time rev hang is there is below 2k rpms or if cruise control is enabled (not set, just enabled). They do it like this so that cruise...
When I installed the downpipes on my n54 I had everything loose and stuffed a chisel(could've used anything about 3/16 thick) in-between the pipe closest to the crossmember and said crossmember and didn't pull it till I cranked down all the bolts. If I didn't the pipe contacted the crossmember...
I was already custom tuned on high octane so the small gains in power I don't think I'd feel but logging spool time and acceleration I proved to myself it spools quicker and is a bit faster. of course the mind says yes it's noticeable though! Lol
I can chime in that while I'm not running PRLs product I am catless and probably 1k miles almost, nothing but a defouler and I have never seen a CEL. Been in stop and go and been wide open 13-14 seconds at a time for a few hours.
That's weird, good but weird.... I know I've heard the catted version even through a CEL, guess maybe I've never read of somebody having it pop with the catless... I got lucky like that on my bimmer, went catless and expected to have to spend 60 more at emission time for the "dpfix" simulator...
Just experiment with different defoulers. The 90 degree one included with the RV6 pipe has kept my cel off for hundreds of miles and 2 trips to the track.
yeah I would think that the VSS displayed on the V2 should match the speedo because the info is from the same source. it was just with the 215/50/17 firestones I seemed to be a mph or 2 higher on the dash than actual but now that my tires roll a bit farther with each rotation being 245/40/18 it...
Do you still have stock tires? I noticed the vss on my car was a little high, my tires now are just a tad taller and it seems to be dead on w/ GPS and radar signs in school zones, etc. Also what tune you running, curious because I ran a 13.7@103 (track timing system) and you are showing 14.4@103...
I pulled the upper heatshield and sprayed the studs, then the next day sprayed again before I started to install. the only one that worried me for a second was one of the 2 closest to the motor, think it was the bolt and not the nut. I increasingly applied more and more force and when it finally...
Right but he also said he's going to do the install tomorrow and pb blaster is nice because there have been a few people who have broken the studs upon removal
Are you cvt? Might want to aim lower. I took my 6mt 13.7 2 nights ago. I am tuned though I don't know if you are or not.
Must not be in the US though if you're going to the track tonight. It's 11pm here. I guess if you are in the eastern US it's tomorrow already...
