The Sport and Sport Touring have slightly quicker steering ratios than the LX and EX-L. But as stated the stabilizer bars front and rear are the same on all 4 hatchback models. Makes sense that there might be some slight suspension difference given the larger wheels on the Sport and Sport...

Canada still has several versions of the Mazda3 sedan with a manual transmission. It is possible to buy one there and have it certified for the US

The "average person" in the US doesn't want or even know how to drive a manual transmission. It's strictly a niche market. But at least Honda still makes them available. I was very surprised they offered the stick with both engines in the Civic Hatchback. Disappointing about color choices but...

Looks like the manual transmission sedan (I.e. the Si) has an engine coolant temperature gauge but I don’t see anything for oil temperature

Well it looks like you have to do SOMETHING every time you start your car to defeat stop-start. Drive mode defaults to Normal every time you start the car. Anyway, I never drive away without at least 10 seconds of warm up. Plenty of time to hit a button or two.

When Civic Si is in Sport mode, auto stop-start is disabled.

That's EXACTLY what I'm planning to do. Maybe once the chip pandemonium dies down I'll look at an Si or Integra.

Red seats will work with red, black, white and Sonic gray exterior colors. Maybe not so well with blue or orange.
