  1. Springs + Tall Tires

Agreed, price is up there for 19s, but I am just used to running 19s since 2008, so used to the price of the tires. Have always used Michelin Pilot Super Sport or PS4S
  2. Springs + Tall Tires

Have any pics or Instagram? If I were to downsize to 18s, this is the wheel I would go with. Fully forged monoblock and I can pick exact width, offset, concavity, and finish I like. Basically a mix of Spoon and HRE.
  3. Springs + Tall Tires

Interesting take downsizing tires to a 255 and minimizing the contact patch. If I were to downsize to 18s, I’d go 265/35 or 275/35 on an 18x10 +40.
  4. ECT2 reading only 5-10 degrees below ECT1

    Just checked. Luigi is LMTLS.
  5. ECT2 reading only 5-10 degrees below ECT1

RIGHT ON! Now I just need to find a vendor that has low temp thermostats in stock ??‍♂️
  6. ECT2 reading only 5-10 degrees below ECT1

Ahhhh, so it is ideal for my daily and will help keep the temps lower for highway pulls and not prolonged track runs. Got it

@Jester04 just reading about the 27Won "scoop"/intake snorkel I bought. Looks like they aren't recommending putting it on. What are your thoughts?
  8. RS-R Best-i Coilovers review

I agree. Factory ride is a bit rough. I changed to DE5 module and it made a world of difference. Looks like Eibach pro-kit is the winner.
  9. Springs + Tall Tires

Yes sir. I still need to do some logs for you ??‍♂️
  10. Springs + Tall Tires

LMAO. You can see my history. I’ve never driven a stanced car ????‍♂️?
  11. Springs + Tall Tires

Yes, I just spoke with Blackhawk Japan. Apparently the Spoon springs are “made to order” and take approximately 2 months to get. My IS350, Q50 and M2 were all on coilovers. My Mustang had magnaride, so went with progressive springs and didn’t lose any ride comfort or drivability. The speedo...
  12. Springs + Tall Tires

100%! 90% of my cars have been lowered, so it’s a bad habit at this point.
  13. Springs + Tall Tires

it rides great right now to be honest. I have the DE5 module and I have zero complaints. Guess I will try H&R or Eibach pro-kit and report back.
  14. FL5 Lowering Springs

This is helping. Now between pro-kit and H&R. Both seem good. Pro-kit seems to be a happy medium of performance, comfort and drop :hmm:
  15. Springs + Tall Tires

Agreed, 18s are the easier route, but 18s look too small on this car IMO. I have a bunch of friends on 18s and their cars look like hotwheels to me.
  16. Springs + Tall Tires

Thank you, but tires can always be changed down the road. The 5.1% doesn’t bother me. The factory tires are terrible. The first week I had the car a sidewall cracked and 2 months later hit a pothole and ruined a wheel. The lowprofile may perform the best on the track, but are not conducive for...
  17. Springs + Tall Tires

Good morning FL5 family! I posted this on Facebook, but didn't get any great feedback. I want to lower my car, but drive approximately 80 miles per day and don't want to ruin the ride or run in to rubbing issues. My car is currently on TALL tires and I love the fat sidewalls and comfort I get...
  18. RS-R Best-i Coilovers review

Just answered my own question. From everything I've read, the Swift Springs really ruin the ride. I've been contemplating springs, but don't want to trash the ride either, as I drive A LOT. Is Spoon the best bet then?
