I drove the car again today and the wheel rotation seems to do the trick. I just need to decide where am I going to have two, or all of the tires balanced on the safe side.
Many Thanks!
I was about to have my local America's Tire to check if the front two tires are balanced, until I noticed they were on the sketchy side of things. Each bay is equipped with four floor jacks and just have cars up in the air that way. So I immediately left.
Eventually, I gave your idea a shot...
The front wheels have to be removed first before disconnecting anything that will let you get to the steering rack.
If it is a tire balancing issue, vibration will not be come and gone within a narrow window.
They did not provide a printout. They assured alignment is part of the warranty procedure when the rack was replaced.
I am fairly certain alignment is not going to cause vibration in that fashion.
I am scratching my head, as I am running out of clues why this is happening.
Prior to the steering rack being replaced, the front wheels were balanced. The rack managed to fall apart one night and it was making knocking noises when the car is not moving by the steering wheel left and right...
Took mine to the dealer today since the replacement steering rack arrived after being backordered for a month. The original one was making audible knocking noise when the car is stationary while turning the steering wheel left and right.
I thought the subframe needs to be removed and required...
Although I can try adjust them and see if that makes any difference, I find both high and low beam are overall on the close side.
I also have not so good experience with LED reflector headlights, where I would immediately prefer the projector version if that is available on the same car.
There are standard flooded car batteries that are sealed. The easiest way to tell between flooded and AGM is you can't feel fluid moving around when you lodge it.
One day, I started hearing a knocking noise that is rather audible from the inside of the car after I am done driving it.
Can consistently reproduce it by turning the steering wheel left and right while the car is not moving.
Service advisor told me they will replace the steering rack, but no ETA.
I scheduled the Steering Rack Worm Gear fix a couple days ago since they were able get the repair kit. Drove the car after I picked it up later that evening and the next day. Things appear to be in working order so far.
That's what I got on a road trip. From the right is mostly city driving, then mostly country roads. After that is the longest leg with blends of freeway, slower country roads and 3,000ft drop worth of fast turns.
Calculating actual gas mileage with the gas pump, the car usually reads close to...
The question is when did you pick up your FL5 and how many miles you currently have.
There are plenty of debates whether the factory-filled oil is a special break-in oil, but you should change the engine oil every 12 months regardless of mileage. If you just got it a couple months ago and...
