470 for the real carbon fiber one (what I got) but there’s 4 option that go as low as 350. Worth the money for sure, just be prepared for a long shipping time. (About 3-4 weeks)
Finally got my unity steering wheel this weekend and put it on this morning. Was free to me after a tire shop scratched my leather one. Was able to get a nice check and pocket most of the money. Steering wheel is very nice and well worth the money I think!
Flat-Bottom Steering Wheel | 22+ Civic, 23+ Integra – Unity Performance
Just ordered the above steering wheel. Had a local tire shop mount and balance some tires and they damaged my steering wheel in the process (nice big scratch on the left side.) They honored the damaged and paid for the...
(3) Pilot Sport 4S OE vs "Retail" Pricing | Page 3 | CivicXI - 11th Gen Civic Type R (FL5), Hybrid, Si Forum, News, Owners, Discussions
Just pasting this here, if you order the OE tires through a Honda dealer or Honda parts online, you will find significant savings on them. The same tires can...
Just commenting because finding this thread on google just saved me 400-800 bucks. Sweet find. Got a buldge in my Rear Driver side tire at some point and just discovered it yesterday.
Hopefully this thread helps more people!
That’s exactly how I feel. I like the paint matched wings a little, but I tend to find it a little over bearing. This is a pretty happy medium for me.
It’s not a product you buy, you gotta go to a wrap shop and have them do the work custom. Luckily, my wrap shop had a color that was pretty much spot on to boost blue (not exactly boost blue). They put a decal on the wing then wrapped over it.
Below is a picture of the wrap color I used to...
Had this decal added on the sides of the OEM wing! Saw this idea at Mid-Ohio last year on a matte green wrapped Type R and loved it. Nice inexpensive subtle addition without full-blown wrapping the wing to match the car.
Im very pleased with it, looks great to me!
I just want to 2nd this. I also run thinkware F200 (Just got my wife a Q200). Great cameras. You can modify the sensitivity to try and reduce the amounts of "incident" events that get triggered. While the noise is whatever, it does make me feel better to know it works as a reminder. It's...
Hey good morning, just wanted to provide some info related to a horrid rattle I experienced with this exhaust (AWE Touring)
About a month ago, right below the driver/passenger area a noisy rattle began to occur once the car began to warm up (never went away. Upon investigation (assuming it was...
Interesting, when I get to my car later today I’m gonna try and flick it like that and see if I can get it to rattle. Never heard that before!
One guy on there said the exhaust hangers were too long so that may be the root cause. If it’s actually an AWE problem I hope they addressed it.
I’ll...
A long time ago, I think there was a guy who did the same thing, and he got roasted for it (no one believed him.) He swore he got a better throttle response, and his ride was smoother as you described.
Without doing it or experiencing it myself, I got to say that it's unlikely to me that a...
Certainly agree. Just for the record, I'm not attempting to accuse you specifically of fear inducing, however all I'm saying is anytime I ever see anyone say PPF is a bad idea, this is the point they usually default to, which is fair. I just don't think in a large data set, that many cars that...
I put an AWE Touring on mine last May and here's my thoughts. FYI don't use sound clips for judgement on these things; unfortunately, sound clips do not do this exhaust comparisons justice. I recommend going to a meet if possible and try and see if you can find someone that can exemplify their...
As for this part....I think this is only true when utilizing poor quality materials and poor installs. If you have a proper installer using good products, this should not be a problem. YMMV but in most cases do the smart thing by picking a good installer and good material (do your research)...
I think it's fair to feel this way.
Personally, for me, I hate how to beat up cars get on the front end. Realistically, rock chips and scratches are not a problem and 99% of people would never notice them on your car, if you even care. For me, I like that my car is in good paint condition...
If you're going to do PPF I personally think only a front is necessary.
If money is absolutely not a problem for you, full is nice. But if you are teetering, I'd just do front.
Congrats by the way! Enjoy the car.
The two things that I will comment on that maybe can help you out.
I would stay away from the OEM Illuminated side sills. They are extremely underwhelming and not at all worth the money. There is actually a thread dedicated to this topic: OEM+ Illuminated Door Sills - FL5 and Si | CivicXI -...
