  1. Canadian dealer asked what colour Type R I want

Congrats! Long time coming, so happy for you. Trust me white was my last pick, in fact when this all began I didn't want white. Once you get in the car and drive it, colour won't even matter anymore lol. Car will convince you.
  2. Only 1100km (650mls) putting away for winter, change oil, flat stoppers?

Hey these points are great. With regards to E-brake, is that because it cause the break to maybe catch onto the rotor after a while?
  3. Canadian dealer asked what colour Type R I want

I believe so. Sales person was pretty honest about the situation. R was sitting on lot for a few weeks and the dealership was getting nervous.
  4. Canadian dealer asked what colour Type R I want

Haven't decided yet on winter driving or not haha.
  5. Canadian dealer asked what colour Type R I want

Thanks. I guess interest rates are high, hard to qualify, I don't know, but a number of people on the waiting list weren't interested apparently. I think this is a good sign if you are serious. The R in Federicton was also sitting on the lot for a bit due to lack of commitment.
  6. Canadian dealer asked what colour Type R I want

The best way I can describe this is I was really fortunate. Somehow the dice rolled in my favour this time. A friend of a friend graciously offered their allocation to me and the dealership was struggling to sell the vehicle. So now I am a Type R owner! I don't know if my new friend is on the...
  7. Anyone else running a dual resonator delete on the FL5?

I would really like to do this but curious if a delete would void warranty.
  8. Canadian dealer asked what colour Type R I want

Have anyone of you shipped vehicles? I'm in Toronto and if I were to go for this, other than driving it back which is a mission, what other options are there?
  9. Canadian dealer asked what colour Type R I want

Way too much greed in the Type R market. Honestly, if I didn't have a need for a car seat I would've been out of this a long time ago.
  10. Canadian dealer asked what colour Type R I want

Damn man that really sucks. What a nightmare experience. Can't wait to see you behind the wheel of either one of these. Hope it erases some of the suffering from this dog shit buying experience.
  11. Canadian dealer asked what colour Type R I want

Compared to all the muted new cars coming out, yeah I would say this is a great OEM exhaust from Honda. You can definitely hear it with the windows up. I understand your point about the FL5 but I've been waiting for 3 years with no end at sight. The dealerships I'm with have pretty much word for...
  12. Canadian dealer asked what colour Type R I want

Hey, I just got to experience the ITS for the first time. I got to say, it was amazing. The exhaust was intoxicating. Genuinely surprised by how loud and crazy it was. Car drove amazing, everything about it was good. The seats were better than I imagined (I was thinking glorified camry seats...
  13. Canadian dealer asked what colour Type R I want

@onepointsix any news on your allocation? It seemed like a sure thing at the end of last year.
  14. Canadian dealer asked what colour Type R I want

So just three of us meeting up so far?
  15. Canadian dealer asked what colour Type R I want

How's 7pm? And yeah top of the garage works.
  16. Canadian dealer asked what colour Type R I want

I don't know if we can do polls here. Maybe if everyone coming likes @onepointsix's post above we'll have an idea.
  17. Canadian dealer asked what colour Type R I want

Just a suggestion. How is North York? Might be a good mid way point for everyone assuming we all live in the GTA. BMO training ground has a big open parking lot.
