Hey everyone, my FL5 is on the way with a 12/1 - 12/5 arrival window as of now.
I was playing around with the builder on the Honda site, and noticed that the forged wheels, red mats, and what I thought were some other accessory options are no longer there.
Have any of you that have taken...
Thanks! And let me know about the rattle please, the FL5 is not a done deal just yet. I have first right of refusal and outside of the trade in market still being solid I’m very happy with the Si. Happy enough to walk away from the FL5…
Word. Glad to hear I’m not the only one with the same thoughts.
My dealer prides themselves on being an MSRP dealer, but they signed me up at $5k over for the FL5. I think if I can’t convince them to come down to MSRP or make some kind of deal with accessories I’ll probably make the markup...
I haven’t. I’m hesitating to even take it in because you can’t really hear it unless you’re driving next to a wall or fence that will bounce the sound back to you. I don’t want to waste time with the dealer and may be trading it in for an FL5 soon, mine is “in transit.”
I’m not on social media so it’s hard to keep up with those and I’m not sure the local one is active. I’ll have to look into it, lotta military over here and many of them have nice rides… I’d be down to come to the other side of the sound for one though if you know of any.
Good recommendations. I actually have seen it. There’s a 22 hatch rolling around town near me and I stopped in a SoCal dealership just 2 weeks ago and they had the BB FL5 in the showroom. It’s bad ass, and looked especially good because they already had some dark tint on it. It’s not that I...
Ok BB crew, this color is basically tied for 3rd on my list. It went SGP, CW, BB/CBP, RR.
But found out the one my dealer is getting for me is BB. I’m a bit torn because I want it really bad and my dealer is small so not confident in when the next one will be and not sure I want to wait...
I have a 22 Si and my Boost Blue FL5 is now in transit ?
Would be stoked to meet up. I’m over in Kitsap County but don’t mind making a cruise around town to connect with some other Civic homies.
Keep me posted.
I’m about to do the same thing. I believe I’ll be able to get my dealer to MSRP, but all things considered does it feel anywhere near worth $14k more? I feel like if I put that into the Si I could make it very similar, if not better.
Plus, I think I’ll miss my skylight :-/
If it’s anything like the 22 Si, there are actually some mounting spots built into the lower grill, so it wouldn’t be drilled through the bumper, just the lower grill and in a specific spot. Shouldn’t be too bad unless you’re really anti any drilling at all…
Yup. I actually got to the point where they said they would issue the letter on the Si with the following:
1) had to get a TPMS system installed because the US required it
2) had to be registered in Canada for at least 6 months
Plus you have to consider that you wouldn’t be able to finance...
I looked into this with the Si. It’s basically impossible without working with a broker or having a Canadian willing to register it to a Canadian address for at least 6 months. The vehicle import rules are designed to allow for people who actually move country to country to bring their cars...
Might be willing to go part of the way with you depending on timing and whether my dealer gets one for launch... assuming you're starting in WA somewhere...
