Just curuous, but why are you selling?
  2. 27WON FL5 Exhaust System

I hope that the tips sit flush with the diffuser. With the time that went into the development of this exhaust, I would like to believe this was taken into consideration. Looking forward to seeing more video clips of this exhaust. I'm also considering the Remark exhaust but read somewhere they...

  4. Official Wheel Fitment Thread for 11th Gen FL5 Civic Type R

Thanks for the information. I don't mind the slight increase in height but want to make sure it won't rub with the wider tires. Would rather on perform any work to the fender. Car will be at stock height.

  8. Void Warranty

I don't believe a dealer can void your warranty but they can deny a warranty claim if they find the aftermarket part caused the issue that you brought the vehicle in for.
  9. Purchasing Type R out-of-state

Driving back was out of the question for me. Work takes priority and don't want to risk rock chips, which will happen with long distance driving. Would much rather pay $1300-$1500 to have the car shipped back, which I'm doing. The plan is for my CTR to go straight to the PPF shop.

Will do and thank you again Clark_Kent! Looking forward to ownership. :)
  11. Purchasing Type R out-of-state

Found a CW CTR in OH. They seem to be abundant in this area. MSRP and it's still in transit from Honda. I requested they leave all plastics on the car and not touch anything after PDI. Put down a 3k deposit and I also found a carrier to transport the car from OH to CA.
  12. The FL5 Dealer ADM Markup Thread

Did you pay extra for transport or did they cover this? If you did pay extra, how much was it?
  13. The FL5 Dealer ADM Markup Thread

I just placed my deposit for a CTR in transit to OH! Which dealership did you work with in OH? And are you arranging your own transportation?

  15. Purchasing Type R out-of-state

Do you know which Norm Reeves? They have several dealerships across SoCal. I've contacted most of the Norm Reeves dealerships and they are all asking over MSRP. The one in Huntington Beach is firm at 10k over.
  16. Purchasing Type R out-of-state

Thanks! All this is very helpful. Have you heard of Goliath Auto Transport?
  17. Purchasing Type R out-of-state

Do you have a recommendation for a carrier to use to transport the Type R? I've received quotes from $1300-$2300 for open trailer.
  18. Purchasing Type R out-of-state

I have. I don’t believe the inventory is accurate as Honda blocked access to their API. But I have been reaching out to dealers in NorCal.
  19. The FL5 Dealer ADM Markup Thread

California Honda dealerships are damn greedy. I've put together a list of SoCal dealerships I've contacted about the Type R and if I was ever looking for a non-speciality Honda vehicle, I would never do business with them. Would much rather give my business to a dealership offering the vehicle...
