  1. What did you pay for your FL5?

Edit: to my surprise, upon closing in the Finance office, they did NOT charge me the $750 accessory fee, but did give me the accessories...I was pretty damn surprised! I also kept my mouth shut lol - [original post] Paying MSRP + $750 for wheel locks, trunk tray and all weather mats. Rallye...
  2. 2026 FL5 Speculation Thread

The answer was just delivered today: https://www.civicxi.com/forum/threads/2026-fl5-speculation-thread.55803/post-987049
  3. 2026 FL5 Speculation Thread

I think this comment means folks who want the production to stop root for discontinuation of FL5 because these types of people paid mark up and can thus better justify having paid mark up due to the car being no longer available
  4. 2026 FL5 Speculation Thread

folks on reddit are going to die from this info. I've been downvoted hundreds of times for saying there will be a 2026 model. For some odd reason they have been rooting for the discontinuation of the FL5
  5. Current FL5 Market

Interesting, my 2025 CTR has been allocated since 7/15, and as of yesterday, it was on a rail car in Nashville TN. Expected delivery to my dealer 9/3-9/7, so I'm looking at taking delivery in two Saturdays from now. The wait is killing me.
  6. Current FL5 Market

Yeah, the last shipment of 2025 model years are on their way to the east coast. West coast deliveries happen much faster since the Japan shipment runs straight to California. When you look at the "in transit" settings on MotoringObsession, and then toggle dates on "new since", you will see the...
  7. Current FL5 Market

I was also looking for a used red 2023+ CTR. Dealers were basically unwilling to budge/negotiate off basically their advertised price, which was barely a discount off current MSRP. One guy on Facebook marketplace was advertising his used one for $47k, also unwilling to budge (I offered $44k and...
  8. Current FL5 Market

Yes! The new FL5 will be my daily replacing my 2011 Si (I’ll be selling the Si privately). The Emira I take out whenever I can when the weather permits. I put 4k miles on it in my first year of ownership, it’s truly a masterpiece of automotive decadence.
  9. Current FL5 Market

East coast here. I just secured a brand new 2025 Rallye Red at sticker $47,045 + dealer fee $699 + accessories $750 (wheel locks, trunk tray, all weather mats). You could argue I overpaid for the accessories but the dealer fee was $200-$300 less than many dealers I got quotes from and the...
  10. Florida Looking to buy 2023+ Rallye Red CTR

Found a new one at MSRP Hello, I am potentially looking to buy a 2023, 2024 or 2025 Rallye Red CTR. My offer is simple: I will pay $500 (minimum) more than what Carmax or Carvana is appraising on your vehicle. For single owner examples, I may pay as much as up to $1,000 over what Carvana and...
  11. Pennsylvania (2) Type-Rs Available @ MSRP (BB & SGP)

I'm from Erie PA, though lived in Florida for many decades now. I can tell you that historically, Bianchi Honda has been a shit dealer to buy from. I understand from time to time a mark up dealer may sell at MSRP, but just mentioning that historically speaking Bianchi Honda is not a good place...
  12. MY 2025 - Facelift?

On the 10th gen, the refresh came in the fourth model year (2020), which would mean 2026 model on the current 11th gen. IMO we won't see or hear of any kind of refresh info for at least another 12 months.
  13. FK8 LE Type R MSRP

https://www.civicx.com/forum/threads/2021-civic-type-r-le-transit-and-dealer-spreadsheet.57249/ The above thread from civicx.com may help find what you are looking for, but in short, as far as I recall, the only dealers who sold the LE at MSRP were one, possibly only two dealers. My...
  14. The FL5 Dealer ADM Markup Thread

this BaT listing was through a Honda dealer, brand new, never titled. There was no difference from buying on this auction vs. buying in person...except that it wasn't bid to the reserve price. Zero risk from a buying perspective...except not seeing it in person, which people have been doing all...
  15. The FL5 Dealer ADM Markup Thread

Finding RR at MSRP will be tough, but any other color is perfectly do-able. You should have bid up to MSRP for this brand new, dealer-listed CTR. The final bid was under MSRP https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2024-honda-civic-type-r/
  16. The FL5 Dealer ADM Markup Thread

The inventory is better now for a few reasons but I think a major explanation is because production has clearly ramped up. They are up to nearly 20k global units shipped since releasing the 2023 model year, and we're only in the second model year of the 11th gen with many months of production...
  17. The FL5 Dealer ADM Markup Thread

Based on relative inventory, now is a significantly better time to buy vs July. There is easily well over the July number of 400 in inventory. There are at least 600 new CTRs available on dealer lots (50% increase in 6 months) not to mention the in transit units. Another thread debating accuracy...
  18. The FL5 Dealer ADM Markup Thread

I'd like to call out that my prediction here 6 months ago was completely spot on. Today there are nearly 2000 new CTRs available between on dealer lots and in transit. Feels good to know the CTR market as good as I do, it pays off having closely followed it going back to 2017!
  19. The FL5 Dealer ADM Markup Thread

Honda of the Avenues, Jacksonville FL. They're my local dealer and have been a long time enemy of mine given how many times over the years I've attempted to give them business but they just suck ass. My friend sent me this on Friday while he was in the service dept. I can see absolutely nothing...
