  1. P0101 DTC

I will definitely try that this weekend! Thanks for the tip, never thought about that. Today I checked the MAF readings at different RPM's (idle, 2x, 3x). From what I researched, idle MAF readings should be about the displacement of the motor. Double the idle rpm, double the MAF readings...
  2. P0101 DTC

The leak smoke test is easy to do, just need a smoke leak detector machine. They range in price depending on how fancy you want to go. The one I got was $60, can adjust the pressure flow rate, but does require an air compressor. There's an inflatable bulb that plugs up an entry point (I chose...
  3. P0101 DTC

I have my doubts it's the filter. Other people are running the AEM Dryflow with no issues. Still makes plenty of whooosh noises VS the OEM filter that is thick and makes no whoosh noises. I'll be checking and monitoring the MAF airflow reading. Hoping it's just a faulty MAF. The MAF connectors...
  4. Traded In My FC3 Si for the New FL4 Sport Touring Hybrid

I would love to pay $4.00, as that was the norm here in Socal. Now it's like $5.60 for 87 (Shell) couple miles away where I fill up my Camry. The nearest gas station near me is Mobile, @ $6.20 for 87.
  5. Traded In My FC3 Si for the New FL4 Sport Touring Hybrid

Congrats on the FL4! Can't go wrong with the 11th Gen body and interior. Jealous of your 50+ mpg with the current gas prices.
  6. Stone Guard DIY

A simpler design. Just the top and bottom clips are enough to hold it in place. Don't bother saving the plastic clips. They will break no matter how careful you are, even on a brand new car. I just bought a box of different sized clips on Amazon.
  7. P0101 DTC

Hope someone can help figure out this annoying P0101 DTC that randomly pops up from time to time. It's annoying when the CEL pops up during a drive and the car goes into Limp mode. List of mods are PRL HVI (with AEM Dryflow filter), Carbon Inlet Pipe, Intercooler and Charge Pipes. Not currently...
  8. Carbon Buildup on Intake Valves

Installed the Mishimoto catch catch 2 weeks ago and not even 100 miles, accumulated this much already. Shouldn't have waited this long to install one after seeing this, but at least I have one now.
  9. California Type R FL5 OEM Steering Wheel

Thanks, just trying to unload some things.
  10. California Type R FL5 OEM Red Floor Mats

    Bump! Prices lowered.
  11. California Type R FL5 OEM Steering Wheel

    Bump! Price lowered.
  12. Carbon Fiber Hood for the FL5

I Ike the GT Style hood. It doesn't look overly done and has additional vents. Doesn't seem to have any channels for water though.. Not to thread jack but do people with CF hoods nowadays add hood latches for safety? I've always added hood latches on my previous cars with CF hoods. I just don't...
  13. CARB certification in cali. RIP

Got my PRL HVI CARB E.O. sticker today. Thank you PRL 👍
  14. California Sold: Type R FL5 OEM Steering Wheel

Have a Type R FL5 OEM Steering Wheel for sale that was replaced with the OEM Alcantara Steering Wheel. Very small scuffs near the 5 o'clock position, not too noticeable because it's at the bottom. Have an extra locking bolt for free if wanted. -$85 Local pickup in Socal SGV preferred, but can...
  15. California Sold: Type R FL5 OEM Red Floor Mats

Have 2 sets of Type R FL5 OEM Red Floor Mats. One is brand new, unopened, and in the factory packaging. The other is opened and is the set my 2024 FL5 came with. They were only used when I drove my FL5 off the dealer lot and about 20 miles home. My shoes didn't even touch the driver mat because...
  16. Honda Collection Hall - Cars and Coffee

Sweet! I'm planning to go and pre-meet 👍
  17. Carpet trunk mat?

I remember reading this question and recently came across a red Mugen trunk mat. It didn't fit right due to the trunk subwoofer, and didnt really like how it looks with the cutouts for the two latches. The seller didn't know and was able to take the mat back. Guess I'm sticking with the OEM tray.
  18. Windshield Repair Q

Are you going through insurance? I went through insurance, with $250 deductible, for my FL5 to be replaced with an OEM FL5 windshield. The invoice price was ridiculous, $3438, at a Honda dealer. I would've paid the same deductible whether I went with the FL5 or standard Civic windshield.
  19. What did you do to your FL5 today?

17.8 avg mpg during the break-in? You've been having fun 😉. I believe my break-in avg mpg was like 25-28 mpg. Now it's 20-22 avg mpg.
  20. Carisma FL5 RC Car

Sams That looks so badass....... Excellent job painting and applying the decals, looks flawless. What paint did you use? I also haven't had much luck finding one in the US...
