Good to know, thanks I was thinking of getting a tune precisely for that reason - since it seems the comfort engine setting with less aggressive throttle tip in reduces the problem a ton.

I've noticed something similar. I get a thump/burp sound from the exhaust and a not so smooth transition when coming back on throttle after engine braking. I can replicate it 100% of the time. It's waaay less noticeable when the mode is set to comfort vs. R. Not sure if that's because of the...

Brought mine in to the dealer for its first oil change @ 3,6xx miles (40% oil life). They tried to talk me out of changing the oil that early and wanted me to come back when it was at 5,000 miles, saying its special oil etc. if I change it now it can cause problems later. I said no, change it...

Threw on the new fall/winter shoes. Enkei Triumph + Conti DWS06+.

The s2k has the best shifter I've had the pleasure of using. The length of the throws, engagement of the gears, etc. is wonderful. The type R is really impressive for a cable linkage, but s2k is the clear winner for me.

Mine made this noise when new, but went away after a couple hundred miles I think. I haven't noticed it in a while (now at 1500mi) and I'm usually really sensitive to this type of stuff.

Did it look like this? Mine had that all over the rear door and quarter panel. I only noticed it when my face was up close doing my first wash. I texted the pics to the dealer and they basically told me to go pound sand, saying it must have been something something I did after taking receipt...

As an owner of both, keep the S2k. The FL5 is a great every day car, but lacks the soul of the S2k. I picked mine up when my daughter was 3. Six years later its still the car she wants us to take every time I ask. The FL5 disappoints with modern car stuff like lack of engine sound, rev hang, etc.

To be clear, its what' you see attached to the back of the rear seats in the pic.

Tuxmats finally back in stock, so picked up the rear tray/seat back protector. Still debating what I want to do for the rest of the mats.

You could always just get a delrin knob and not have to worry about covering it.

I'd describe this more as a scraping noise vs. a squeal (if its the same thing I'm experiencing). At first I thought it was something stuck in the brakes but then I noticed it was every single time I'm off throttle. Sounds like crap. ?

Took it to a local dealer. Wasn't plugged in...all good now. Not sure how that happens / doesn't get caught.

Funny how some people forget how the used car market operated for all those years before covid...

Of course they checked it off on my PDI sheet, makes me real confident in the rest of it. :rolleyes: I made an appointment at the local dealer, we'll see what they say.

That's obviously the fall back option, but I'm trying to avoid it (if it could be something simple like a fuse) since they are a bit of a drive away.
