I share/respect your feelings as mine has been stuck in a rail yard only 16 miles away when it could have been in my garage Christmas Eve - it was to be a Christmas present. Let's wait this out and once we have our cars the bad memories of this ordeal (or more accurately "cluster f**k") will fade.

Check the door sticker and see what the date of manufacture is. Most shops that I've had experience with will not do a PPF, ceramic, detail, etc. until the paint is six months old, but each dealer used different techniques so it may be mote.

Was informed this at 11:00 this morning that mine arrived at the CSX Intermodal rail yard in Tampa (15.7 miles away). It came from Jacksonville. I don't know where the train is going next, but was told that the Tampa distribution area serves dealerships for the entire southern FL region.
