Haha fair enough, keep the GT3. Awesome collection of cars. I will say this as an FL5 owner who also has an exotic and other higher end cars... the CTR is a fun car to drive, work on, etc... but I don't know if I'd trade down for one. GT4 is so much better in every way. Use the X5 for the future...
LOL... nothing about what was said above was thinly veiled nor a shot at the OP. With such a desirable model, people will obviously be questioning someone who decides to sell a basically brand new car because it's missing a piece of paper. Totally fine if that is what is important to the OP. You...
I have the SRP pedals and yes they do require some drilling. The factory clutch/brake pedals have holes in them already once you take the covers off, but the hardware was a little too large so I had to drill the holes out a bit larger. The gas pedal and footrest come with self-tapping screws...
It’s a cheap deterrent. Most thieves look for easy opportunities. Anything can be stolen with enough time and patience.
Also the OEM wheels aren’t that expensive so kinda pointless to claim insurance.
Could just be me, but I feel like mine rattles until the engine is warm and then I don’t notice it as much. Usually most prominent right as I’m leaving my neighborhood.
And where did I say I was concerned about it? It was a simple observation after yesterday when two forum members made posts about each valve cover.
One looks professionally done and one looks like no care was taken to prep it.
Watched the vid... it doesn't look like Two Step's version masks off any of the holes so I'm assuming the threads all have cerakote in them. That is one nice thing about Spoon's version, you can see they took much more time in prepping the valve cover before paint.
Dealership probably won't swap for you, but any reputable JDM shop/mechanic should have no issues doing it.
You're not going to get too many answers about seat swaps bc there haven't been too many who've done this since the FL5 seats are pretty fantastic to begin with... but to each their own.
Huge fan of Acuity, their products are high quality and their customer service is top notch. I have the base and cable bushings from them and noticed a decent improvement over stock.
I believe you can go Hybrid Racing for these as well, plus detent springs. I don't have any experience with PRL...
Several people have replaced their OEM seats with the Mugen Recaro seats using Bride rails. Spoon also makes seats that are black, along with a ton of other manufacturers like Sparco. There was another forum member that did another brand, should be able to search and find that one too. Pretty...
I'm ok with that too. I just don't understand the obsession with this PRL intake... especially after reading bad reviews about customer service. I think the jury is still out on the intercooler too, seems some are concerned it could be blocking too much air to the radiator. And don't get me...
Honestly curious, why does everyone lust after this PRL intake? Tuners are making plenty of power with the stock intake and doesn't seem like it's a limitation until you get above 400+ hp. If you want to make more noise, just buy a drop-in filter.
