For all that racket I would order a new one and bring them the old tank and see if they can cover. Or drive leaky car to service guy before changing. If not oh well time is money.
My local dealer did this for me with a battery on my 2020 Si. It’s the only reason I still buy cars from them and...
My 17 CTR had same leak it would weap from the black cover on the trans/clutch area and pool up around that bolt and on the shield.
I ended up selling the car so never officially diagnosed but my valve cover looked ok and no other visible leaks.
Maybe put die in oil so you can trace the leak...
My FK8 and 17/20 Si had same screws no issues but man the ones on the FL5 are no joke. Got em out and coated in anti seize will see if it helps. Pain in a$$$$!

I can’t stand the rattle when the windows are down.. crazy a new car rattles like that. I have owned many civics never a issue and my daily beater a 2004 Civic makes zero sounds when the window is down any amount.
I would push lemon law/new car.
If that doesn’t work full crate motor new from Honda not a rebuild in shop.
With crate motor I would want some type of compensation as when ever you sell the car you will probably incur extra financial loss from the work done. Extended warranty would be the...
Usually once those pieces are removed or messed with they are never the same unless you buy new sets with all new clips. Ask the installer to take a look as they may have gotten damaged during install.
No screw goes there on our car model.
The engine and exhaust will smell a bit as the car gets broken in and heat cycles. If it drives fine, fluids are full and no visible leaks I wouldn’t worry about it.
I attempted to disconnect the fake sound and couldn’t access it with the glove box out and loosening the panel under the vent so I stopped. If anyone gets to it without messing with the vent panel please share how to do it. The dash and plastics are very soft on the newer Hondas and damage...
