I use the pedal dance because it seems more predictable. I've tried +R a few times on track and I don't like the way the car wants to keep doing things when I want it to be steady state. I adjust the balance with rear bar and/or inflation pressure. Except on super cold tires and being...
I use Racecapture hardware for GPS and basic OBD2 data and an app called Solostorm to record/process/display the data. I export the SoloStorm data and combine it with video in Race Render. Not exactly straightforward but it gives me what I want.
If I were starting over I'd probably get a...
I messed with a couple different options and ultimately settled on a suction mount from the rear glass with extensions to get the POV I wanted. I run a small strap through the seat passthrough to help stabilize it since it's a pretty long lever arm, but so far it seems to be the best solution...
My guess is that's part of the benefit of tuning. On my laps when I was cleaning stuff up on lap 2~3 I would be up through bascially every technical section and losing time on the straights vs. when the car was cool. I told myself I wasn't going to tune but it's definitely tempting.
I've definitely been looking at this over the last week. I was curious how the routing of the lines works for the dual setup? Are the coolers independent or linked together across the bumper?
Yeah, I'm familiar with the limitations of the OEM stuff. I'm running 5W-30 oil but otherwise everything is stock, so I'm guessing it's pretty close. At this point I don't know that it matters since the car thinks it's 270+ and is definitely pulling power.
I actually expected the coolant...
Had a great time at Barber over the weekend. Unlike NCM where it was cooler, the temps (mid-80s) really highlighted the need for some cooling modifications. I could get 270+ oil temps after only a couple laps and it was clear the car was pulling power. With cooler temps and/or better cooling...

Here's the two kits I bought to combine into the mount I used. The extension arm by itself was a little low so I'll probably use at least part of the other extensions to get it a bit higher when I'm at Barber in a couple weeks:
Cup Holder Mount
Extension Arm / Camera Mount
I also had the cup holder mount come loose at NCM from all the curbing there. It has to be *really* snug to keep from working its way loose but ultimately that's definitely a weak point of that setup.
I'll be trying it again at Barber in a couple weeks - if it has issues there I'll probably...
NCM is an amazing, technical, real driver's track - I've got thousands of laps around there and learn things every time I go. Compared to more traditional tracks like Mid-Ohio or Road Atlanta, it's a much bigger challenge to learn and string together a perfect lap IMO. I would definitely...
Yeah, no tune - completely stock aside from wheels/tires/pads/alignment. This lap should have been a high 20, but I couldn't get the front to bite at the top of Faux Rouge so I lost a few tenths through 16.
I think in cooler conditions it's capable of 18/19s in near-stock trim.
