I just got the recall notice in my inbox on the Honda Link app. Gonna wait for the initial Guinea pigs to get hacked up by the techs before I bring my car into the shop.
I checked Carfax for the recall. My car is affected. Lame. Should've kept my M240i. Sounds like a serious problem with the steering wheel in effect locking up while driving. Looks like parts won't be available until December. Then the dealership hacks will trash the car.
I had an '24 M240 xdrive. Other than the engine, there wasn't much I liked about that car. She was super heavy, dead steering, brakes offered no feedback and that was with the wheel and tire package. Overall, I have been happy with FL5. Not as fast as the M240i, but far more fun to drive...
I find the aim on my car great. On my M240i I was always having to keep the high beams on. So in comparison I have been happy with the headlights on my CTR.
Anyone check their vin on the Honda website for recall? Mine said no recalls. I am guessing the database isn't current.

I am happy with the exhaust in stock form. I recorded it with my phone and it sounds totally fine to me. Give me a minute to put on my flame protective suit before you all reply. LOL!!
Agreed, have to live with it. Repairing doesn't seem viable. It's not terrible, but geez I have two pits after going on the highway twice. The windshield is mad soft. I am glad I ppf'd the front of the car. I will check into Exoshield. I am terrified to take the car on the highway...
I hear you. I should've backed off. What's done is done. I tried to extract it. No luck. I will ask the dealer to take a look when I bring it in for an oil change. My concern is if they drill it out that it would fall into the body and rattle around thereafter. I will talk to the tech...
Question: There are three bolts that are removed - one bolt is longer than the rest. Is that the bolt for the seat bracket? I should've paid more attention when I removed.
During the reinstall of the rear seat I over tightened the bolt that goes through the bracket and snapped the head off. Grrrr roar! How do I remove the piece left behind without it falling into the body and becoming a rattle LOL? Stuff happens when you decide to do the work yourself. Shame...
Today I pulled down the panel on the left side beneath the glovebox. There's two clips holding it up. It is tapping vibrating against a big white piece of plastic. I put some sound deadening material inside the panel where it vibrates against the white plastic box. This did the trick. No...
Under the glovebox there is a cover I think for the airbag. It rattles when I tap against it. On the right side of that panel there is a white clip holding the panel tightly in place. On the left side no white clip and the panel moves.
Can anyone take a look at that panel and let me know if...
