My previous car a 2018 Civic
It has always seemed smoother after each oil change, regardless of the temperature.
And where I live, in Canada, it gets very hot and very cold. And I have always used 0-20 as recommended.
Your link do not work for me, it is because my country ?

Turning off the car is not as effective as disconnecting the battery for 10 minutes.
Have you made any modifications to your car that would affect the electronics?
I'm sorry for you.
IMO;
1 - No
2- Since the car will be repaired under warranty, that's the end of it. There is no obligation or law in Canada that requires them to replace the car.
3- Sit and wait.
I do the test ; hot or cold , oil level is the same with 0-20 synthetic oil.
Perhaps with ordinary, thicker oil, you would have to wait for it to settle in the pan.
What your owner manual say ?
it is surely the 0-20 which is recommended, not the 5-30 which will probably not damage the engine in the long term, I do not know, but could increase fuel consumption, I would avoid and follow Honda's recommendation.
Hello, could you confirm that I can safely lift my Civic 2025 as shown with a front central / jacking lifting point; the video shows a 2024 I think.
Thank you
The complete how to lift :
I've always replaced my filters myself and washed the inside of the compartment because there was always residue that would quickly dirty the new filter. I doubt the dealer will do this
I put a steel grill to protect condenser on all our family Civics.
The latest one on my 2025
I found it on a hardware store.
I see over the years , it save from serious damage
