So you'd be #1 at the other dealer with the better price? Why dont you withdraw your allocation with the dealer thats selling the car at 70k and go with the dealer with the better price?

To be honest I’d stay on the list. Doesn’t hurt for you to stay on it, especially if you know you’re near the top.

Anyone with a deposit that went through stripe or the Honda portal… can you confirm what charge says on your credit card statement? Does it say stripe? Or Honda Canada? Or does it say the dealership? I feel my dealer is blowing smoke up my ass

So in reference to the stripe system. Can a dealer enter as many orders as they want and they just get a rejection if they ask more than what they’re allocated?

Right. However there are 237 Honda dealers in Canada with some getting 0 and others getting a handful. So is 1 car over 3 years realistic for some smaller dealers? Or are they just feeding some BS?

Well not exactly. I know of atleast one dealership that will sell the FL5 as a "used car" and have interested buyers partake in a bidding war.
